FAQs
Frequently asked questions
- Why choose us?
- We refuse to rent a property to others that we don't absolutely love to go to ourselves! We also self-manage which means no third party property management companies that will treat you like a number and skimp on things like cleanliness and maintenance (we've all seen those places and its not a fun surprise to find at check in!). Don't take our word though, scroll through our many guest reviews!
- Why book here instead of on Airbnb or VRBO?
- There are many reasons to cut out these third party sites and work directly with the owner, but the number one reason is booking fees! We never charge a booking fee and this translates into quite a bit more $$ in your pocket to spend elsewhere on your vacation!
- Do we have to go to an office and get keys to check in?
- No. We have a modern WiFi enabled door lock and will send your self check-in door code about 48 hours prior to your arrival!
- Where are your mountain properties located?
- We are conveniently nestled right in between Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in a peaceful and charming location known as Wears Valley, TN. This gives our guests the unique ability to enjoy a vacation experience of all three if they choose!
- What advantage does staying in Wears Valley have over being in downtown Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge?
- If you hate traffic, noise, and the stress of busyness as much as we do, you will quickly see why Wears Valley is the place to be! Get the convenience of being able to easily visit the local tourist attractions with the ability to escape back to peace and enjoyment in the evenings! Not to mention, we are less than 5 miles from the national park entrance in Metcalf Bottoms!
